God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46.1


I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Psalm 51.3

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51.17


This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118.24

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55.6

Philippians 4.6


Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name. Hebrews 13.15

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1.8f


You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being. Revelation 4.11


Christmas
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be upon his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9.6


When the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Galatians 4.4


This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1 John 4.9


Easter
For Christ our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with bread without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5.7f


Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1.3


Ascension
God exalted Christ to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2.9-11


Whitsun (Pentecost)
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses. Acts 1.8


God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5.5


Trinity
Day and night those around the throne never stop saying: 'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.' Revelation 4.8
