Patronage:Patronage board has four turns then the Lord Chancellor has one turn. (The Lord Chancellor chose Graham Southgate, therefore the patronage board will have the next turn) Patronage Board consists of: (1) a. the bp of Salisbury, b. archdeacon of the benefice, c. rural dean of the benefice, (2) Executors of the will of the late Rt Hon John Granville (care of Sir Charles Morrison), (3) Executors of the will of the late Michael Stewart (care of Neil Rimington), (4) the Warden and Fellows of All Souls College, Oxford University, (5) N M P Mackenzie-Charrington, (6) the Prior Custos or Master of The Hospital of St John near Wilton, and The Brethren and Sisters of the same hospital, (7) the team council established pursuant to clause 9, which shall be represented at any meeting of the board by four lay persons who shall jointly have four votes, (8) the Reformation Church Trust, (9) Church Society Trust
Where patronage is exercised by turns Church Society Trust may have had no role in an appointment. Where patronage is held jointly the Trust likewise has a reduced role. Where a living is suspended the involvement of the Trust depends on the circumstances and the attitude of the Bishop.
